These data fulfill requirements of the federal Every Student Succeeds Act and the provisions of Indiana Code 20-42.5-3-7.
Note From the Corporation
Western Boone believes our buildings to be very equitable and funds are distributed fairly to serve all students. Administrators use the same numbers when determining staffing at both elementary schools. Some of the main factors that cause the slight difference in per pupil spending by building are listed below: *Granville Wells Elementary School houses our developmental preschool classroom and lifeskills classroom for both elementary schools causing per pupil spending to appear higher. Thorntown Elementary School currently has a higher than normal enrollment which causes per pupil spending to appear lower. *Western Boone Jr.-Sr. High School is an all electric building (LP or natural gas are not available) and has a higher square footage (per student) compared to the elementary schools, causing higher operational expenses. What is the total amount spent per student for fiscal year 2020?
