The South Ripley School Corporation lies nestled at the edge of the hills of southeastern Indiana, taking in most of the southern third of Ripley County and covering over 200 square miles. Our mission is to educate students today, to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. We focus on student growth and set high expectations for all students. We operate a 1:1 blended digital learning environment and provide our students access to the latest technology, teaching them how to be responsible digital citizens. Our committed and caring staff has helped us to achieve an “A” rating from the IDOE, and earn AdvancED Accreditation as a Quality School System. From our award winning FFA Chapter to our highly successful athletic teams, South Ripley offers a wide array of stellar programs. We have a comprehensive list of extracurricular activities to which students can belong including plays, publications, videography and more. We offer a large number of interscholastic athletic teams with the recent additions of swimming and bowling. We have been recognized as a Champions Together School by the IHSAA for our work with Special Olympics, and offer multiple opportunities in our music department. We prepare our students for college and careers through our multiple dual credit course offerings and strong partnerships with the Southeastern Career Center and Ivy Tech Community College.
