Mt. Vernon Middle School (MVMS) is also located on the Fortville campus and serves grades 6-8. MVMS is a STEM-infused school with all students managing their own touchscreen Chromebook and several hands-on learning experiences using different forms of technology. MVMS staff is committed to positive student growth and development of the whole child. Positive character traits are encouraged to provide an environment where students grow academically, emotionally, and socially. The staff provides engaging project-based learning opportunities, such as the 8th Grade “Walk on Water” science experiment.
