Our goal at McCordsville Elementary School (MES) is to Engage, Educate and Empower Today's Students to Seize Tomorrow's Opportunities. Every student at MES has the best opportunity to learn in a rich and nurturing environment. All staff have opportunities to learn best practices on a regular basis which helps them be prepared to meet each student's individual needs. The staff strives to build the best relationship possible between home and school, as it is our shared responsibility to help each student achieve. MES is located just west of the Fortville campus and provides a meaningful education with teachers who engage students and provide a safe and caring environment. MES is a STEM Certified school with a touchscreen Chromebook for each student in grades K-5. Strong community support and involvement have been a portion of MES’s success since its opening in January 2006. Art, music, STEM, and physical education are provided for all students.
