SRES is proud to be a C.L.A.S.S. school, modeling the life goals: “Do the right thing. Treat people right.” Student learning is a priority. We not only teach standards and life skills, but we also teach students how to respond, react, and behave. We model a growth mindset and truly believe that all students can learn. We choose to provide students as many learning opportunities as they need, and find value in “re-teaching” and trying again. We also place a strong value on early STEM-exposure through our instruction, hands-on tools and STEM curriculum. We build the foundation through consistent coaching and modeling for our teachers. It is vital to give teachers time to explore, think and produce their own original work, in order to better understand how important this is for our students. Our focus is truly on the students, helping them to be independent, self-motivated and critical thinkers.
