The Indiana Department of Education leads the state’s K-12 ecosystem by providing guidance and support to nearly 2,200 urban, suburban, and rural schools. At the crossroads of the nation, Indiana’s classrooms are comprised of approximately 75,000 educators dedicated to educating the state’s 1.2 million students who speak more than 290 languages.
