Milan Community School Corporation, established in 1856, has a rich tradition of educating students, recognizing our responsibility to prepare students for life, while respecting the traditions of the past and realizing the challenges of an ever-changing society for the future. For over 150 years, the Milan Community School Corporation has successfully provided excellence in education to children to reach their potential as outstanding citizens. Currently one elementary school serves Kindergarten through fourth grade, one intermediate school serves grades five and six, one middle school serves grades seven and eight, and one high school serves grades nine through twelve. Our vision is for students to learn and grow everyday and graduate with a purpose. Milan provides students an environment that fosters a safe and welcoming learning atmosphere. We offer a nurturing school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth. We promote the success of all students by responding to diverse needs. We believe that we are more than just a test score, and we encourage our students to think, create, and explore. While our successes are numerous, we are dedicated to continuous improvement.
